Police report that the bodies of two 13-year-old children from Ankumbura, Kandy, who had been missing, were discovered this morning (10) in the Victoria Reservoir. The two students had gone missing on 08th October while playing near the Mahaweli River. Suspecting that they may have been swept away by the current, police, alongside local residents, conducted a search operation in the Victoria Reservoir, but were initially unable to locate any trace of them.
