GovPay surpasses Rs. 1 billion in digital payments

GovPay, the secure online platform enabling digital payments for government services in Sri Lanka, has processed transactions worth over Rs. 1 billion so far. Developed to facilitate safe and convenient payments for taxes, fines, utility bills, education fees, and other government services through banks and digital wallets, the platform has completed 40,920 transactions to date, amounting to Rs. 1,001,469,008. 35 Indian fishermen arrested in Sri Lanka
