The Castle Street Hospital for Women has confirmed the birth of conjoined twin girls at the hospital earlier this week (10), it was reported. A suspect has been remanded for allegedly misusing the name of veteran film director Sanath Abeysekara to solicit sexual bribes from women. The individual was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and presented before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday (12).
