Former Army Captain, driver acquitted in 2001 theft case

Lightning advisory : Red alert issued to 15 districts

The Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for severe lightning in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and Southern provinces and Polonnaruwa, Batticaloa, Ampara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts today.
