The latest report, issued at noon on December 7, shows more than 2.17 million people have been affected across 25 districts. According to the DMC, a total of 611,530 families have been impacted. Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Madhura Senevirathna says that all access roads to the Nuwara Eliya District have been reopened.
