US delegation meets Minister Wasantha to explore investment opportunities

A group of senior representatives from U.S. think tanks and the private sector met with the Minister of Trade, Commerce, Food Security, and Cooperative Development, Wasantha Samarasinghe, this week. This delegation, including investors from various U.S. states interested in investing in Sri Lanka, is particularly active in India and the broader Asian region.  They expressed strong interest in food security, food processing industries, export sectors, and port operations.
