U.S. Embassy issues alert over cyclonic storm ‘Ditwah’

The U.S. Embassy in Sri Lanka has issued a weather alert warning U.S. citizens of potential risks posed by Cyclonic Storm “Ditwah,” currently located approximately 50 km south of Trincomalee. The embassy advised U.S. government personnel in Sri Lanka to exercise caution, limit non-essential travel, and monitor local weather updates.
