A robber, who attempted to snatch a gold necklace with a pendant from a woman walking along Wakwella Road in the Galle Police Division, has been arrested on the spot by a Police Motorcycle Unit in the area. The suspect was apprehended on the spot due to the swift action of three officers from the Galle Motorcycle Unit, with CCTV footage of the incident on Monday (24) being widely circulated on social media.
