ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s People’s Leasing & Finance PLC said it will issue up to 150 million debentures to raise a total of 15 billion rupees. The listed, rated, unsecured, subordinated, redeemable debentures will be issued at 100 rupees each, and carry a term of five years. The issue is approved by the central bank, and will be subject to required regulatory approvals. The company intends to list the debentures on the Colombo Stock Exchange, it said in a stock exchange filing. (Colombo/Dec1/2025)
