ECONOMYNEXT – Profits at Sri Lanka’s NDB Bank jumped 146 percent from a year ago to 3,615 million rupees in the September 2025 quarter due to growth in net interest income and fee as well as a sharp decline in bad loans, the interim accounts show. NDB Bank group reported earnings of 8.49 rupees for the quarter. In the nine months to September, NDB reported earnings of 19.03 rupees, on total profits of 8,103 million rupees.
