ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka is working on 67 public private partnerships in spread through several sectors, Chief Executive of the National Agency for Public Private Partnerships, Sukakshana Jaywardena said. A PPP law which provides a legal framework for projects is now with the legal draftsman and after revisions including with feed back from the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. After Attorney General’s approval is obtained, the government will present it to parliament as soon as possible.
