Sri Lanka sells extra Rs2.2bn Treasury bonds after auction

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has sold 2,200 million rupees of bonds offered on tap at the average rates set at an auction last week, bringing the total of bonds sold in the week to 41.6 billion, data from the central bank’s Public Debt Department showed. The debt office sold a 1 June 2033 maturity bond (LKB02033F013) at a weighted average yield rate of 10.39 percent. On Thursday, 39.40 billion rupees in 2030 and 2033 bonds were sold.
