Sri Lanka sells extra Rs125mn Treasury bills after auction

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka has sold 125 million rupees of treasury bills offered on tap at an average rate of 8.04 percent, the state debt office said, bringing the total of bills sold this week to 43.43 billion rupees. The debt office sold 12-month bills at 8.04 percent. On Wednesday (12) the debt office raised 43.3 billion rupees of 3, 6 and 12 month bills.
