Sri Lanka rupee weaker, bond yields steady

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee was quoted at 309.45/50 to the US dollar in the spot market Tuesday, weaker from 309.25/35 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields were broadly steady. A bond maturing on 15.02.2028 was quoted at 8.95//9.00 percent, down from 8.97/9.00 percent. A bond maturing on 01.05.2028 was quoted at 9.00/05 percent. A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 was quoted at 9.49/50 percent. A bond maturing on 15.03.2031 was quoted at 9.85/95 percent. A bond maturing on 01.10.2032 was quoted at 10.23/28 percent, up from 10.22/26 percent. A bond maturing on 01.11.2033 was quoted at 10.40/45 percent.…
