ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 308.05/15 to the US dollar in the spot market Thursday, weaker from 308.00/05 the previous day, dealers said, while bond yields edged up on the short end of the yield curve while the long term remained steady. A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 was quoted at 8.25/35 percent, up from 8.20/30 percent. A bond maturing on 15.02.2028 was quoted at 9.08/13 percent.
