ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee was trading weaker at 304.80/305.00 to the US dollar in the spot market Thursday from 304.55/80 on Tuesday, dealers said, while bond yields dropped by about 3-4 basis points. A bond maturing on 15.02.2028 was quoted at 8.98/9.02 percent. A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 was quoted at 9.48/52 percent. A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 was quoted at 9.50/55 percent, down from 9.55/58 percent. A bond maturing on 01.07.2030 was quoted at 9.70/73 percent. A bond maturing on 15.12.2032 was quoted at 10.43/47 percent, from 10.40/48 percent. (Colombo/Nov6/2025)
