ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 302.75/83 to the US dollar on Thursday, weaker from 302.65/69 the previous day, while bond yields closed broadly steady, dealers said. A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 closed flat at 8.35/45 percent. A bond maturing on 15.09.2027 closed at 8.79/88 percent, down from 8.85/90 percent. A bond maturing on 15.03.2028 closed at 9.11/15 percent. A bond maturing on 15.10.2029 closed at 9.71/75 percent. A bond maturing on 01.07.2030 closed at 9.77/81 percent. A bond maturing on 15.12.2032 closed at 10.48/60 percent, from 10.50/55 percent. (Colombo/Oct9/2025)
