ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee opened at 302.57/63 to the US dollar on Monday, from 302.60/68 the previous day, while bond yields were broadly steady, dealers said. An issue of 181,000 million rupees Treasury Bonds was ongoing. A bond maturing on 15.03.2028 was quoted flat at 9.10/20 percent. A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 was quoted at 9.75/85 percent, up from 9.67/72 percent. A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 was quoted at 9.65/75 percent.
