Sri Lanka rupee flat against dollar, bond yields steady

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 302.50/55 to the US dollar on Friday, while bond yields closed up on the short end, steady on the mid and long tenors, dealers said. A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 closed at 8.25/30 percent, down from 8.25/32 percent. A bond maturing on 15.09.2027 closed at 8.75/85 percent, up from 8.70/82 percent. A bond maturing on 15.12.2028 closed at 9.10/16 percent, up from 9.10/15 percent. A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 closed at 9.54/60 percent, up from 9.52/56 percent.
