Sri Lanka rupee closes weaker to dollar, bond yields steady

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 303.05/15 to the US dollar Tuesday, weaker from 302.90/95 Friday, while bond yields closed broadly steady, dealers said. A bond maturing on 15.12.2026 closed at 8.25/35 percent, down from 8.30/35 percent. A bond maturing on 15.09.2027 closed flat at 8.75/85 percent. A bond maturing on 01.07.2028 closed at 9.20/30 percent, down from 9.25/32 percent. A bond maturing on 15.12.2029 closed at 9.65/70 percent, down from 9.70/73 percent. A bond maturing on 15.12.2032 closed at 10.50/65 percent, up from 10.50/60 percent. A bond maturing on 01.11.2033 closed at 10.67/75 percent, up from 10.65/75 percent.…
