Sri Lanka Rugby imposes strict safety rules on Kandy Sports Club

Sri Lanka Rugby has announced strict measures to safeguard match officials and player safety following incidents at last week’s A-Division League match between Kandy Sports Club and CH & FC. In an emergency council meeting, the governing body emphasized that hooliganism, intimidation, and misconduct have no place in rugby. Clubs are responsible for the behaviour of individuals at their venues and must take decisive action to prevent future incidents.
