ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s President and party leaders are having an emergency meeting at the Ministry of Defence on the prevailing disaster situation, the president’s media division said. Cyclone Ditwah has killed 56 in Sri Lanka and people were warned off river valleys as flood waters continued to rise Friday in the coastal plains with authorities forecasting more rains.
