ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka Customs had agreed to release more detained BYD vehicles on bank guarantees and corporate guarantees following a court hearing., JKCG Auto, the agents said in a statement. “Whilst this solution was initially not accepted by Sri Lanka Customs, on the basis of the further affidavits and the submissions made by Counsel on behalf of JKCG, we wish to inform that Customs agreed in Court, on 11 November 2025, to release the detained vehicles,” the company said.
