ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka average coconut prices rose 6.8 percent at the weekly coconut auction on Thursday, Coconut Development Authority (CDA) data showed. The average price for 1,000 nuts was 138,581.96 rupees on October 2. However, CDA has continued to not declare the highest or lowest price for a nut at the weekly auctions. “Only the average price is there,” CDA officials told EconomyNext.
