A special discussion was held in Parliament today (31), chaired by Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne and with the participation of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) (Attorney) Priyantha Weerasooriya, and opposition Parliamentarians, during which the opposition MPs requested the Speaker to take necessary steps to provide security to them.
