Sri Lanka has been highlighted as a growing tourism destination for South Koreans, with two VVIP Buddhist delegations visiting the island in December. A 120-member group, including senior monks from the Jogye Order, arrived on Dec. 1 for a pilgrimage tour. A second delegation of 150, led by Ven. Hyeil of Haeinsa Temple, arrived on Dec. 10 and was welcomed with cultural performances at Bandaranaike International Airport.
