Sony International has reportedly issued a Cease and Desist letter to a leading Sri Lankan television channel, alleging the unauthorised use of its intellectual property and demanding the immediate suspension of a specific programme. According to the notice reportedly delivered to the channel’s management today, Sony International claims the broadcaster has infringed on its intellectual property rights and must halt production and transmission of the programme without delay.
