The government of Sri Lanka has officially informed the Office of the UN High Commission for Human Rights (OHCHR) that it is opposed to an international mechanism to address human rights violations as such mechanisms create divisions among communities in Sri Lanka, Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya told Parliament today.
