Opposition MP Shanakiyan Rasamanickam has welcomed President Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s decision to remove the Ports and Aviation portfolio from Minister Bimal Rathnayake. Rasamanickam said it was a necessary move, given the serious allegations of a container fraud linked to the minister.
