The Ministry of Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development has lodged a complaint with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) over a series of false and defamatory posts circulating on social media against Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe and his public relations officer, Nimodie Wickramasinghe.
