A complaint has been filed on wiring being stripped from the auditorium on the 6th floor of the Colombo Deputy Inspector General’s (DIG) Office, it was reported. According to the Lankadeepa newspaper, the Police Headquarters says a complaint has been filed with the Divisional Crimes Investigation Office in this regard. The Police said the suspect had broken into the auditorium and had stolen copper wiring from the electricity wires supplying power to the electronic equipment in the auditorium.
