The book Ran Dhoni, which tells the story of the daughter of Dr. Shiabdeen Mohamed Shafi, a doctor who was falsely accused in 2019 of forcibly sterilizing women, was launched on Tuesday (30) at the Colombo International Book Fair. Written by veteran journalist Suranga Senanayake, the book recounts the challenges faced by Dr. Shafi’s family during and after the ordeal.
