A man sought over an incident involving a foreign tourist in Thirukkovil has been arrested, police said. The suspect, a 23-year-old resident of Kalawanchikudi, was taken into custody over an alleged indecent act reported by a New Zealand national who had arrived in Sri Lanka on a tour. The tourist lodged a complaint with the Tourist Police stating that on October 25, while travelling from Arugam Bay towards Passikudah, a young man behaved indecently during her excursion.
