Police have revealed that an organized crime figure who was murdered in Middeniya earlier this year had been in a vehicle that pursued rugby player Wasim Thajudeen before his death in 2012. Acting Police Media Spokesperson Nihal Thalduwa said the man, identified as Anura Vidanagamage, widely known as “Middeniya Kajja,” was recognized by his widow in connection with the case.
