Twelve (12) persons have been reported injured in an accident that occurred in the Wewita area along the Bandaragama -Kalutara road when a van carrying a dance troupe collided with the rear of a lorry. Reports indicate that a three-vehicle collision took place involving a trishaw, the van, and the lorry this afternoon. A Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Plant was inaugurated in the OPD area of the District General Hospital, Hambantota, during the High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha’s recent visit to the Southern Province.
