Four suspects have been arrested for defrauding Rs. 569,610 from an individual under the pretext of purchasing a water motor. According to the Police, the arrested group are the chief suspect and three others who had aided the financial fraud. An investigation had been launched into the fraud following a complaint received by the Wayamba Province Computer Crimes investigation Unit of the Criminal Investigations Department in May last year.
