The Sri Lanka Committee for Solidarity with Palestine (SLCSP) elected veteran journalists Ameen Izzadeen and Mahinda Hattaka as its co-chairmen at the annual general meeting held in Colombo this week. The SLCSP also appointed as patrons the Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Ihab M. Khalil, along with past chairmen Imthiaz Bakeer Markar and Minister Bimal Rathnayake, the immediate past president.
