A fire broke out at a tyre manufacturing factory in the Horagasmulla area, Divulapitiya, earlier today. According to the Gampaha Fire Brigade, three fire trucks were dispatched to the scene to bring the blaze under control. Firefighters managed to douse the flames after several hours of operation. Several vehicles and equipment inside the factory were destroyed in the incident. No casualties have been reported so far, while authorities are conducting investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
