Maradana Police arrested a 47-year-old man from Kirulapone for possessing 950 kilograms of illegally imported turmeric and 2,562 boxes of beauty cream. The suspect was apprehended on Friday evening (17) following a raid based on a tip-off. Police said further investigations are in progress to trace the source of the contraband.
