An individual has been reported dead after being hit by a train close to the Wellawatte Railway Station last evening. According to the Police, the victim was hit by a train plying from Panadura to Puttalam. The Police said the identity of the victim is yet to be ascertained. The victim is assumed to be over 60 years of age and was last seen wearing black trousers and a short-sleeved white and blue shirt.
