The Maldivian Coast Guard on Wednesday captured two Sri Lankan fishing boats found within the Maldives’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The interception of the Sri Lankan vessels was announced by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) in a statement on Thursday morning.
