Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya today (27 October) officially retired from his post as Chief of National Intelligence upon reaching the age of 60 years. A distinguished Sri Lanka Army officer, he was instrumental in strengthening the country’s intelligence network and inter-agency coordination since becoming the CNI in January this year.
