The Mahatma Gandhi Model Village housing project in Ampara was inaugurated and handed over to the 24 beneficiary families on Wednesday (29). The housing project was jointly inaugurated by the High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka, Santosh Jha and the Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply, Susil Ranasinghe.
