Supreme Court Justice S. Thurairaja was sworn in as the Acting Chief Justice before President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat today (07). The appointment was made due to the overseas travel of Chief Justice Preethi Padman Surasena. Justice S. Thurairaja will serve as the Acting Chief Justice until Chief Justice Preethi Padman Surasena’s return to the country.
