The Hydrology & Disaster Management Division of the Irrigation Department has issued its latest update on islandwide river water levels and rainfall conditions as at 9.30 am today (November 23), indicating alert status and minor flood conditions at several monitoring points. According to the department, alert levels have been recorded at Magura on the Maguru Ganga, Panadugama on Nilwala Ganga, Deduru Oya at Moragaseswewa, and Attanagalu Oya at Dunamala, with water levels at some stations continuing to rise.
