Six Sri Lankans, including Ishara Sewwandi — the main suspect in the killing of underworld figure Ganemulla Sanjeewa — have been brought back to Sri Lanka after being arrested in Nepal. Police said Ishara Sewwandi will be handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division for further investigations. The suspects were arrested in Nepal earlier this week in connection with the shooting of Ganemulla Sanjeewa inside the Hulftsdorp Magistrate’s Court earlier this year.
