INS Sukanya, the lead vessel of the Sukanya-class patrol vessels of the Indian Navy, has entered Sri Lankan waters with necessary relief materials. In a post on ‘X”, Minister of External Affairs of India, S. Jaishankar said INS Sukanya has entered Trincomalee with relief materials. The relief materials are part of Operation Sagar Bandhu, which was launched by India to bolster relief efforts in Sri Lanka, in the wake of Cyclone Ditwah.
