Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya has engaged in discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi today. Commenting on the meeting, Indian PM Narendra Modi said the discussions covered a broad range of areas, including education, women’s empowerment, innovation, development cooperation and welfare of Indian fishermen. “As close neighbours, our cooperation holds immense importance for the prosperity of our two peoples as well as the shared region,” he added in a post on ‘X’.
