The High Commission of India in Colombo has announced that IVS Lanka, the outsourcing service provider for visa, passport, and consular services, will cease operations on October 31, 2025. According to an official notice, starting November 3, 2025, all visa, passport, and consular-related services will be handled directly by the High Commission of India (Colombo), Assistant High Commission (Kandy), and Consulate General of India (Jaffna).
