How to create your WhatsApp username

  Meta-owned WhatsApp is preparing to roll out a long-awaited feature that will allow users to reserve a unique username — marking a major shift from its current phone number–based identity system. According to beta trackers, the new feature has been spotted in WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.25.28.12.
